Piezometers

The vibrating wire piezometer is designed to measure pore-water pressure. It is used to monitor engineering works such as hydraulic structures, foundations, dams, embankments, excavations, tunnels and waste repository sites.

The instrument has a rugged stainless steel body with triple stage water protection. It offers reliable surge protection and a high level of resistance to electrical and radio interference.

Coffey Mining specialists can install the vibrating wire piezometers in a conventional sand cell or using the direct grouting method.
